When the estimate lives in loose spreadsheets
The estimate lives in Excel
Every job starts as a copy of the last one. When the price of steel changes, you have to hunt for it sheet by sheet.
Materials aren't standardized
The same material entered under three different names makes it impossible to know what you actually charged.
The quote doesn't match the estimate
The document is rebuilt by hand for the client and differences show up that nobody can explain.
The real cost arrives late
By the time you finally know the job's margin, there is nothing left to fix.
What Unitra
Unit price analysis
Build the analysis for each work item with materials, labor, tools and equipment, including their productivity rates. Change the price of one material and every item using it is recalculated.
Materials catalog and analyses
One catalog per company, with consistent codes and units. Analyses are reused from one job to the next instead of being typed again.
Estimates by project
Structure your estimate by sections and work items, with quantities per job and the markup you define. The total calculates itself.
Professional quotes
One click turns the estimate into a quote, in PDF, with your details and your logo, ready to email to the client.
Analysis generation with NOVA
The AI assistant proposes the analysis for work items that don't have one, reading your own materials catalog. You approve before anything is saved.
Catalog import
Upload your work item catalog in Excel and the assistant reads and loads it, so you don't retype hundreds of rows.
Steel structures
A module with its own price list for steel structure work, which folds into the main estimate.
Multi-company, in the cloud
Each company with its own catalog and jobs kept separate, from any browser, with nothing to install.
From material to quote
Enter your materials
Materials, labor, tools and equipment with their current cost.
Build the analyses
Define the make-up of each work item and its productivity rate, or let NOVA propose it.
Build the estimate
Add the job's work items with their quantities and your markup percentage.
Generate the quote
Turn the estimate into a quote, export it to PDF and email it.
Why a system pays off
One change, everything updated
Change the price of one material and every work item containing it is recalculated.
No gaps between documents
The estimate and the quote come from the same source, so the totals always match.
Your know-how accumulates
Every analysis you build stays available for the next jobs.
Faster quoting
What used to take days of spreadsheet work now takes hours.
Frequently asked questions
What is a unit price analysis?
It is the cost breakdown of a construction work item: which materials, labor, tools and equipment it takes, in what quantity and at what productivity rate. That is where the unit price used in the estimate comes from.
Can I use my current Excel catalog?
Yes. Unitra has an importer that reads your file, lets you pick the sheet and the columns, and loads the catalog with no retyping.
Does it work for public works?
Unitra follows the unit price and materials breakdown logic used in both public and private work. The final submission format should be checked against the requirements of each tender.
What exactly does NOVA do?
It is the AI assistant that proposes the analysis for work items that don't have one, using your own materials catalog. You always review and approve before saving.
Can I send the quote to the client from the system?
Yes. The quote is generated as a PDF and emailed from the same screen.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Unitra runs in the browser. You only need your user and an internet connection.
Does every user see everyone else's information?
Each company has its own space with its catalog and jobs. Inside the company, access is controlled per user.
